The Company was established as a UK and International selling arm in 2003 for Gehrer Ag of Switzerland (Est.1978) who hold the major share of this specialist market in Germany & Switzerland.

Gehrer Sharp Ltd supply smoke/dye and dye only based products to protect cash money in transit or static cash holding systems.

The managers of the company collectively have some 40 years experience in this specialist field, with offices in London and Somerset.

The Company is a founder member of the Banknote Watch, a crime prevention initiative promoting the fact that ‘a stained note is probably a stolen note’.
